Gamble Funeral Service

Ask a family we have served… ™

After a courageous battle with cancer, she succumbed at the young age of 62.  Her infectious personality made countless people cherish her friendship.  We all are grateful for the wonderful memories she gave us.  And also we can’t say enough about the animals she loved: her pet store, Canine Palace, and the annual Wag-O-Ween fundraiser.

Sara was preceded in death by her parents John and Dorothy Evans.

Surviving are her husband, Greg; daughter, Bridgett Witt; sisters, Barbera Dickerson, Heather Snipes, Anne Hubbard, and Mary Kirkendoll, and several nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, we ask donations be sent to the animal rescue charity of your choice.

I believe Sara has crossed the Rainbow Bridge, and was met by all those she loved who went before (led by Deana, of course!).
The rest of us will mourn her loss and remember her wonderful life. She was decent, kind, funny, brave, sometimes quite wacky, and always our friend. She was incredibly good to all of us – 2 legged and 4 legged. She will be missed! Well done, Sara!
