  2. Hazel Monk says:

Robin – Your Mum was an amazing lady, responsible for moulding you into such a lovely daughter. (We had such fun when you came out for the last year of high school with us Kiwis). You probably get your strength of character, confidence & sound principles from her, (probably sense of adventure?) as well as the red hair & gorgeous smile!
I didn’t know her well, just met when she came to NZ and then when I travelled to Savannah 2 years later. But Mums are so special to us and such important role models- you were very blessed with your dear Mum, Peggy. Thinking of you -sending a big Kiwi hug & love xx

  6. Susan Fountain says:

While she’s gone from this mortal life, I know Rett and Robin have memories that will last a lifetime. Never a kinder or gentler lady. She affected my childhood in such a positive way. I am so very glad Ginger and I were able to connect and have lunch at Johnny Harris that time we last were in town. Our prayers and love to you during this time.

  7. Penny Butler Rossiter says:

Dear Robin and Rhett, I simply can’t believe that your dear mother is gone from our site. My heartfelt sympathies to you both. But like both of you, I can’t imagine life without her. Our families were so intertwined by our homes on Wilmington island and our love for Turners Creek and all of the adventures we had there. That part of our lives was certainly heaven on earth. My heart is with you both as you go through this time and the adjustment of life without her wisdom and guidance. Peggy was always such a lady, an avid dog lover, and simply being in her presence made you aspire to be a better person. We will always share the connection that our parents created. Much love to you both.
