The first time I met Johnson was when I was a rookie police officer in 1973. While trying to make an arrest I was fighting 2 men when all of a sudden they were both off of me and there was Johnson holding both of them until they could be handcuffed. He came from nowhere just at the right time which I am sure saved me from serious injury. Something I will never forget during my lifetime. I hope he will rest in peace as he deserves the comfort of a life well lived!
