I have been Mike and Liz’s neighbor for 9 years and reflecting on our friendship Mike and I have done a lot together from sitting on the log in the alley to our midnite landscaping, our black friday outings, cooking hotdogs on a little grill out in the alley, watching concrete cure, backyard movie nights, fire pits ect…. I will miss his company, his giggle and our golf cart rides. Mike always joked that he was deaf not stupid and he was right. I will miss him very much. I am so grateful for his friendship and the fond memories we made together

  16. Jeff Bell says:

In the Summer of 1960 my family moved to 1027 Latrobe Street in Parkersburg, West Virginia from what was known as the Dragstrip hollow, or “holler” outside of Belpre, Ohio. I was 10 years old and lost. The move was very traumatic for me. My world felt like a tornado had picked me up, spun me around and spit me out. As I was trying to get my bearings, this little boy grab me by the hand and wanted to be my friend. His name was Mike and his family lived in the big white house next door to ours. See you soon Mike.
