Jay Epstein, 58, of Savannah, Georgia, and husband of Donna Pollack Epstein, died Saturday morning, May 7, 2022, at St. Joseph’s Hospital.

Born in Savannah, Georgia, he was a son of the late Elliott and Sarah Epstein. Jay was a co-owner of NLAWS Foods for twenty years and the newly formed NLAWS Refrigerated Port Services. He enjoyed astronomy and tracking the routes of aircraft and cargo ships. Jay was an avid fan of the Georgia Bulldogs basketball and football teams, the Atlanta Braves and Falcons. He served as an executive member of Rambam Day School, the Board of the Brotherhood of Bnai Brith Jacob, and was a member of the Chevra Kadisha. Jay was a master of quoting his favorite shows, especially the Three Stooges, Perry Mason, and South Park. He loved the holidays, particularly Chanukah, and also spending time with his family, friends, and golden retriever, Skipper.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers, Norman Epstein and Hymie Epstein, and father-in-law, Gerald Pollack.
