  2. Heather Frawley Walker and Family says:

I will always remember Uncle James’ long hair, his tall and muscular stature. I remember the family together, the adults playing cards and him being so serious in his game. He was so intimidating to me (as a kid) I never quite knew what to say. I remember when I had my first child he gave me little books to read him, and I have those to this day. However, even though that was sweet and touching, I will never forget him asking me to dance at a family party, so we strutted our stuff to “Pink Cadillac “ and think of him whenever I hear that song.

  6. Crystal Poss says:

While we knew this day was coming, it’s still such a shock that I won’t be able to call and hear your voice. The day you got your wings, all I wanted to do was hear you say, “Is this my favorite niece” and I would respond, “Is this my favorite uncle.” I’ll miss seeing those blue eyes and hearing you laugh. I’ve heard many say you were an intimidating man, but I’ve never seen that side of you. All of my life, you were so easy to be around. I can still remember you taking me to the park and getting ice cream and fishing. I always wanted a big brother because mom always talked about what a great big brother you were. I hope you know just how much I loved you and I’m so glad I called you when you were in the hospital, this last time, and told you. The last words you said to me were, “I love you, niece. ” The most precious gift you could have ever given me. Save me a seat by the lake and have my pole ready. Love you, always!
