Heidi Joan Rosenberg Pevey, 60, of Savannah, Georgia, and wife of Harry Samuel “Sam” Pevey III, died Thursday morning, November 10, 2022, at Memorial University Medical Center.

Born in Savannah, Georgia, she was daughter of the late Reuben Rosenberg and the late Naomi Adler Rosenberg Rogers. Heidi held a Bachelor’s Degree from Georgia Southern University; in French history and literature. She loved to travel and speak to people in the French language. While she was in college she discovered her passion for theater. She enjoyed discussing theater, literature, and playing trivia. Her greatest joy in life was her children. She wanted nothing more than for people to get along and be happy. She wished sorrow on no one.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her son David Samuel Pevey.

Survivors include her husband of 35 years, Harry Samuel “Sam” Pevey III; daughters, Lisa Giddings and April Rose Pevey; one grandchild Isabella Louise Giddings

The family will receive friends from 1 to 2 o’clock, Tuesday afternoon, November 15, 2022, at St. George Episcopal Church – 15 Willow Road.

The memorial service will follow at 2 o’clock Tuesday afternoon, November 15, 2022, at St. George Episcopal Church, conducted by the Reverend David W. Lemburg. Interment will take place at Northside Cemetery.
