  1. Scott Jones says:

Squires Family: I went to school with Dave from 10th – 12th. We were also on the Swimming Team together at CAHS.
My condolences to Maureen and the rest of the family.

  2. Roger Beal says:

I’m sorry to see another old pal pass. Dave and I were classmates from the 2nd grade right through high school graduation in 1965. We shared many adventures, and many common friends. Peace to your soul, Dave, and blessings to your family.

  3. Barbara Hanniford says:

Dave and I were Allegheny College classmates, and I was always glad to see him at our class reunions. Attending became a significant effort for him and Maureen as his health worsened and eventually became too difficult. We so missed him at our 50th reunion! My condolences to Maureen and the rest of Dave’s family.

  4. Pat McDermott Nixon says:

I’m grateful to have known Dave as Allegheny College 1969 classmates and cohorts in Allegheny’s M.A.Ed. program. Two memories stand out in particular. The first is our driving with Pat Cluss the summer of ’69 [when we were in Meadville to begin our graduate studies] to Blossom Music Center near Cleveland to see Peter, Paul & Mary in concert. The second was a similar road trip together from Meadville westward to the Cleveland airport [maybe 1999?] when I happily transported Dave from our reunion and enjoyed two hours of lively conversation together. Any of us fortunate enough to journey with Dave were fortunate indeed…graced by his positivity, energy, kind spirit and lighthearted humor. I’m so thankful our paths crossed and extend my heartfelt sympathy to Maureen.

  5. Johnett L Osborne says:

It was of pleasure to have meet Mr. Squires!! He will always smile with me and I could get him to life even when he wasn’t at his best. My Deepest Sympathy To Mrs. Squires and The Entire Family!

  6. Bill Fulton says:

Dave and I, and two others, shared a house our senior year at Allegheny. He was also in our wedding. Besides the interesting discussions we had late at night (on the rare occasions when he stayed up late), the thing I will remember most about Dave is his quick and infectious laugh. We are all better for having known him. Kathy and I extend our sincere condolences to Maureen and the rest of Dave’s family.

  7. Touchstone Gallery Artists says:

We would like to express our deepest condolences to Mrs. Maureen Squires and the entire family. We are deeply sorry for your loss.
