Anne LaCelle Chastain Newsome, 95, of Savannah, Georgia, and widow of Rufus Frederick Newsome, died Friday morning, June 10, 2022, at Abercorn Rehabilitation Center.

The family will receive friends from 5 to 7 o’clock Tuesday evening, June 14, 2022, at Gamble Funeral Service – 410 Stephenson Avenue.

The funeral service will be held at 1 o’clock, Wednesday, June 15, 2022, in the chapel of Gamble Funeral Service, conducted by the Reverend Kenneth L. Harrelson. Interment will be in the Greenwich section of Bonaventure Cemetery.
