  17. Michelle Kassorla says:

There is no greater thing than one has a good name. Alan Simon will always be remembered by my family. He built rockets with my boys, showed incredible patience, and let them see what a strong Jewish man could be. He was proud of his Navy Service and he mentored Eli when he was in the Navy. I don’t think my son, Moshe, would have become an engineer without those early moments with Alan. He was the best.

Lynn, you were always his strength and his deepest love. I know he wouldn’t have been the man he was without your constant support and care. May you be consoled by Hashm.

    Love you all!

  18. Michelle Kassorla says:

Alan was my husband’s right-hand man for so many years! He was a true friend to my children, building rockets with them and sharing his experience with the Navy. He was one of the most patient and decent men I have ever met. He showed us all what a strong Jewish Man could be.

Lynn, I know the intense love he had for you and your calm strength and care was an integral part of who Alan was. We mourn with you, and wish we could be there for you.

We love you all, and know that you will be consoled by Hashm. We have all lost a great man, a great father, a great friend.

    Baruch dayan ha’emet
