Walter Edward Gaines

Walter Edward Gaines, 86, passed away on Friday, April 25, 2025, in Savannah, Georgia. Walter was preceded in death by his brother, Ezekiel Baldwin Gaines of Savannah, Georgia; his sister, Helen Poulson of Spokane, Washington State ; and his sister Elizabeth (Betty) Gaines Schroder of Savannah, Georgia. In addition, he is survived by several nieces, nephews, great-nieces and nephews in Savannah, Richmond Hill, and Atlanta, Georgia. 

Walter served in the United States Navy as a young man, and enjoyed a long career in the banking and computer industry, in Atlanta, Georgia, Jacksonville, Florida, and and finally with Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University in Daytona Beach, Florida. In lieu of flowers, please give to the charity of your choice.
