Sheryl L Ranew, went to be with her Lord and Savior on June 21, 2026.
Born January 7, 1948, native of Savannah, GA. She was the daughter of the late Bill Arban and Lorene Arban. She was a graduate of Savannah High School. She was a long time member of Southside Baptist Church where she met Paul Ranew. Together they shared 12 wonderful years of marriage united by their faith in God, devotion to family and strong fellowship and love for their church community.
Sherrie worked as an administrative assistant finishing her career at Memorial Hospital. She had a love and compassion for helping and encouraging others through cards and words of inspiration. She volunteered at Hospice Savannah. She loved her family and friends and will be remembered for her beautiful smile and loving spirit.
Sherrie is predeceased by her parents, Bill and Lorene Arban, first husband Lanford D. Harris, Sister Billye Harris, Brother-n Law Kennon Harris. She is survived by her spouse, Paul Ranew whom she dearly loved, sister Beverly Futch ( Lee ), her children, Toni Hendley ( Ken ), Chris Harris, Stepdaughter Debbie Ranew, Stepson David Ranew ( Tracy ), several grandchildren, Zach Hendley, Josh Hendley, Collin Harris, and Alex Ranew and two sister-n-laws, Genelle Phillips and Jawana Wigley
Visitation will be from 10:00-11:00 Saturday June 27, 2026 at Southside Baptist Church with Funeral service to follow.
In lieu of flowers, remembrances may be made to Southside Baptist Church, 5502 Skidaway Road, Savannah, GA. 31406.
