Rosemary Jones Emsweller

SAVANNAH, GEORGIA - Rosemary Jones Emsweller, 91, of Savannah, Georgia, wife of William Robert Emsweller, died Monday afternoon, September 5, 2011, at her home surrounded by her family and under the care of Hospice Savannah.
Born on January 23, 1920, in Indianapolis, Indiana, she was a daughter of the late Oscar L. Jones and the late Mary S. Luman. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a son, Marion Paul Jones, age three days old, and her older brother, William W. Jones.
Surviving are her loving husband of 71 years, William Robert Emsweller of Savannah, Georgia; two sons, Jerry Robert Emsweller of Savannah, Georgia and Daniel Mark Emsweller of Douglasville, Georgia; six grandchildren, Terry Emsweller, Nicole Coulter, Patrick Emsweller, Jenny Emsweller, Beth Demkowski, Katie Wheeler, and fourteen great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends from 5 until 7 o'clock Wednesday at Gamble Funeral Service - 410 Stephenson Avenue.
The funeral service will be held at 9 o'clock Friday morning at the graveside, Maple Grove Cemetery, in Brookville, Indiana.
