Robert 'Bob' Raymond Yeager, 75, of Savannah, Georgia died Monday evening, March 13, 2017, at Memorial University Medical Center.
Bob was born in Cincinnati, Ohio on July, 17, 1941 to the late Robert J. Yeager and Jane Morehead Yeager. He was preceded in death by his brother, Thomas Yeager.
He is survived by his wife of fifty years, Catherine Yeager; his daughter, Anne Clayton and her husband, John Clayton; his aunt, Dorothy Birt; and his two granddaughters that he loved more than life, Molly and Elizabeth Clayton. To them, he was simply known as Pop Pop.
Bob loved fishing, woodworking and tinkering. He was a member of the Savannah Elks Lodge and rarely met a stranger. He was often seen sporting a pair of overalls to the dismay of his wife and family. Pop Pop was a kind and caring man. He is irreplaceable and we will miss him dearly.
The family will receive friends from 2 until 4 o\'clock Sunday afternoon at Gamble Funeral Service - 410 Stephenson Avenue.
