Robert Everett Hutcherson

Robert Everett Hutcherson ,91 of Pooler Georgia passed away on May 3, 2025. He was born on March 29, 1934, to Samuel E and Virginia L Hutcherson in the coal fields of southern West Virginia.

He graduated from Big Creek high school and joined the Air Force where he served 10 years and 32 years in the Air National Guard. During the 42 years, he obtained the rank of E9 and had a record time of over 17,000 hours of flying time. He was an avid golfer and enjoyed his time with the Bacon Park senior blitz. He was also a member of the Masons Ancient Landmark Lodge 231 and the exchange club. Robert was a member of Windsor Forest Baptist Church and former member of Savannah exchange Grey Eagle.

He was preceded in death by his wife of 59 years, Margaret L Hutcherson. Robert is also proceeded in death by his parents and his brother Benny, Ronald L and Samuel C.

He is survived by a brother Jack R Hutcherson (Donna) two daughters Terri, L Coppage, (Ronnie) and Kathy M Hutcherson, two grandsons John Wayne Lariscy III “Trey” (Tobi), and Joseph Tyler Lariscy of Texas. He has three great grandchildren, Bradley, Brooklyn and Scotlyn Lariscy and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be at Gamble Funeral Services. Visitation will be Thursday May 8th at 11:00 o’clock followed by a service at 12:00 Noon. Burial will be at 1:00 o’clock in the Greenwich Cemetery.
