SAVANNAH, GEORGIA - Richard Aloysius Crawford, 78, husband of Nancy Garrahy Crawford, of Savannah, Georgia, died Wednesday morning, June 9, 2010, at St. Joseph's Hospital.
Born in Chicago, Illinois, he was a son of the late James Crawford and the late Margaret Farley Crawford. He was a United States Army Veteran and was a communicant at St. James Catholic Church. Mr. Crawford was the owner and operator of ICT Printers of Georgia for thirty years. He was formerly from Chicago and later moved to Atlanta, Georgia and retired to Savannah to the Landings where he and his wife resided for ten years. Mr. Crawford loved to play golf and enjoyed fishing. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his brother, James Crawford.
Mr. Crawford is survived by his wife of fifty-eight years, Nancy Garrahy Crawford of Savannah, Georgia; three daughters, Kim Donaldson and her husband, Tim, of Wayzata, Minnesota, Pattie Barry and her husband, Jim of Rolling Meadows, Illinois, Sally Conley and her husband, James of Glencoe, Illinois; two sons, Rich Crawford and his wife, Sheri of Denver, Colorado, Matt Crawford and his wife, Jacqui of Chicago, Illinois; his sister in-law, Mary Jane Crawford of Dunwoody, Georgia; sixteen grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends from 10 until 11 o'clock Monday at St. James Catholic Church.
The Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11 o'clock Monday morning at St. James Catholic Church conducted by Father Mark J. Ross. Interment will be private.
