Raymond "Bucky" H. Floyd

Raymond H. “Bucky” Floyd, 84, of Savannah died suddenly Monday, April 21, 2025. He was born on August 20, 1940, to the late Harold and Myrtle Manes Floyd.

Bucky served in the National Guard and was the owner and operator of Floyd Concrete Company until his retirement in 2013.

Beside his parents, he is preceded in death by a sister, Caroline Floyd.

Surviving are: his wife of 34 years, Shera Floyd; a son, Scott Floyd;  two stepsons, Wayne Thompson and wife, Becky and Michael Thompson; four grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.

Bucky was a lifelong resident of Savannah. He loved the water, and he loved the boats.
