Paul Navy (Ret.)

Paul Lester Decker, United States Navy (Ret.), 65, of Richmond Hill, Georgia and husband of Kristi Sue Dale Decker, died Wednesday morning, March 1, 2017, at St. Joseph's Hospital.



Born in Toledo, Ohio, he was a son of the late William Paul Decker and the late Mae Marie Sheldon Decker. Paul was of the Christian faith. He attended his home church Countryside Christian Center in Clearwater, Florida where he served as a deacon and volunteer. Paul happily gave his time to serve others. He enjoyed playing cards and meeting people while driving for Uber. Paul will be best remembered for being a great husband, dad, and grandfather. He mostly enjoyed watching his children play sports.



In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Gordon Arnold.



Surviving are his wife of 17 years, Kristi Sue Dale Decker; three daughters, Jordin Decker, Sarah Decker and her fianc??e, Kyle Birkholz, and Lauren Decker; two sons, Sean Decker and Jacob Decker; three grandchildren, Aevah Decker, Henry Decker and Rodrick Decker; two sisters, Sandra Reis and Marcia Bringman, and a number of nieces and nephews.



The family will receive friends from 1 until 3 o'clock Monday, March 6, 2017, at Gamble Funeral Service - 410 Stephenson Avenue.



The funeral service, with full military honors, will be held at 3 o'clock Monday, March 6, 2017, in the chapel of Gamble Funeral Service conducted by Captain Mike Scholes, U. S. Army.
