Moisey "Misha" Gubenko

Moisey “Misha” Gubenko, 84, of Savannah, GA, died Tuesday, January 21, 2025. Born in Kiev, Ukraine, in 1941, Misha earned his Master’s Degree in Construction Engineering before he met and married the love of his life, Svetlana. They had two sons and in 1979 the family moved to the United States. Misha retired from the City of Savannah after a career in construction management. 

 He is survived by his wife, Svetlana, brothers, Roma (Ludmila) Gubenko of Miami, FL and Alexander Rabinovich of New South Wales, Australia, sons, Vadim (Yudita) Gubenko of Cumming, GA, and Alex (Kelly) Gubenko of Savannah, GA, grandchildren, Elizabeth, Alan, Andrei, Nickolas and Evan, as well as many additional family members and friends around the world.
