Michael 'Mike' Eugene Strickland, 61, of Savannah, Georgia, husband of Elizabeth Adams Strickland, died Monday evening, October 17, 2022, at Hospice House of Savannah.
Born in Savannah, Georgia, he was a son of the late Larry Strickland and the late Sandra Bryant. Mike enjoyed salt water fishing, hunting, and boating off of Wilmington Island. He loved animals, especially his dogs, Dixie and Gaddy. Mike was an avid Georgia football and Atlanta Braves fan. He especially enjoyed spending time with his family and friends and will be deeply missed.
Survivors include his wife of 35 years, Elizabeth 'Liz' Adams Strickland; children, Brandon Strickland (Kaley) and Daniel Jackson (Haley); grandchildren, Ava Strickland and Hayden, Kylie, Tylar, Brooke, and Declan Jackson; a brother, Tommy Strickland (Sandy); nephew Tommy Strickland, Jr. (April) and their son Thomas; step-mother, Julia Strickland, as well as several brothers and sisters in-laws, aunts, uncles and many friends.
The family will receive friends from 10 to 11 o'clock Saturday morning, October 22, 2022, at Gamble Funeral Service ' 410 Stephenson Avenue.
The memorial service will be held at 11 o'clock Saturday morning, October 22, 2022, in the chapel of Gamble Funeral Service
