Marvin Harris Longwater, 70, of Savannah, Georgia and husband of Sandra Tiffany Longwater, died Monday morning, August 11, 2014, at his home and under the care Hospice Savannah.
Born in Savannah, Georgia, he was a son of the late Hymie Longwater and the late Leah Brown Longwater. Marvin was a member of Congregation Agudath Achim. He served on the Board of Directors for Congregation Agudath Achim and the Jewish Educational Alliance. Marvin was the retired owner and operator of Mastercraft Dental Lab, Inc.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Jan Longwater Shadowens.
Surviving are his wife of 45 years, Sandra Longwater; and two sons, Adam Longwater and his wife, Karen, and Lance Longwater and his wife, Ashley, along with five grandchildren.
The funeral service will be held at 12 noon Tuesday at the graveside, Bonaventure Cemetery, conducted by Rabbi Ruven B. Barkan.
