Mark Charles Lynn, 68, passed away on January 8, 2026. He was born in Savannah, Georgia on September 6, 1957, to the late Carolyn and James Lynn.
Mark was a graduate of Jenkins High School, attended the University of Georgia where he received two degrees in Marine biology and was the co-founder of Georgia Campus Ministries. Mark was the owner and operator of Natures Pantry for 26 years.
Besides his parents Mark was preceded in death by his brothers, Ken and Eric, and his aunt Mimi.
Mark is survived by many friends and associates, including his longtime friend Robert Simmons and his cousins Carol Green and Vicki Graham. He lived with Robert and they often spent time praising the Lord God Almighty. They disagreed on a lot of things but one thing they never argued about was that Jesus Christ is the way, the truth and the life. Mark is also survived by his childhood friend Gary Thompson: "Newt" who was always there for Mark, along with his many, many close friends from Savannah Christian (Compassion Christian) including Pamela D. Smith and Jimmy Williams who shared many wonderful times of fellowship together.
He also loved discussing Bible topics with his friend Butch Murphy. Mark is also survived by his many customers and friends from his business Natures Pantry and from the gym. To know Mark was to love him, as he had many endearing gifts and traits. He often spoke lovingly of his mother and father, and great upbringing he had as a child.
Cam Huxford "Camo", Mark's longtime friend and pastor will provide the eulogy at the service for Mark.
Visitation for Mark will be at Gamble Funeral Service, 410 Stephenson Avenue on Tuesday, January 20th from 12 o’clock Noon until service time at 1 o’clock in the chapel of Gamble Funeral Service. Graveside service will be at Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens.
