Marilyn Wagman Steinberg, 66, of Savannah, Georgia, died Sunday morning, March 17, 2013, at Hospice Savannah.
Born in Savannah, Georgia she was a daughter of the late Abe Wagman and the late Juliet Ghelerter Wagman. Marilyn was a member of Congregation Bnai Brith Jacob and was a retired bookkeeper. Marilyn was an avid knitter and needlepointer who also enjoyed playing Canasta and Mahjong with her friends. She adored her grandchildren, whom she helped raise, and she will be greatly missed by her family and friends.
Surviving are one son, Adam Steinberg and his wife, Amy, of Duluth, Georgia; one sister, Nancy Rosenthal and her husband, Sanford 'Sandy', of Savannah, Georgia; two grandchildren, Juliet and Catherine, and three nephews, Jeffrey Rosenthal, Matthew Rosenthal and his wife, Tricia, and Brian Rosenthal and his wife, Lori.
The funeral service will be held at 12 noon Monday at the graveside, Bonaventure Cemetery, conducted by Rabbi Avigdor Slatus.
