Marie Schuman Boaen

Marie Yvonne Schuman Boaen, 74, of Savannah, Georgia and wife of Richard Franklin Boaen, Sr., died Tuesday evening, August 27, 2013, at Hospice Savannah.



Born in Savannah, Georgia, she was a daughter of the late Walter Lee Schuman and the late Eleanor Bunton Schuman. Mrs. Boaen was a communicant of St. James Catholic Church and a homemaker. She was an avid reader who loved her family and especially enjoyed spoiling her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.



Surviving are her husband of 58 years, Richard Franklin Boaen, Sr. of Savannah; two daughters, Terri Parrish and Lisa Sharpley and her husband, Jim, all of Savannah; three sons, Rick Boaen and his wife, June, Eddie Boaen and his wife, Brenda, and Lee Boaen and his wife, Pam, all of Savannah; thirteen grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; one sister, Sadie Salazar and her husband, Ernest, of Corpus Christi, Texas; a number of nieces and nephews, and close family friends, Buddy and Tammie Nelson and Bill and Paulette Nelson.



The funeral service will be held at 10 o\'clock Friday morning at the graveside, Hillcrest Abbey - East, conducted by The Reverend Meg B. Procopio and Father Donatus Mgbeajuo. ??
