Linda Marie Shuman Goolsby

Linda Marie Goolsby, 84, passed away on Tuesday, April 29, 2025 at her home with family and her beloved dog, Bentley, at her side. Born in Savannah, Ga she was a member of Savannah Primitive Baptist Church for many years, She was an avid fisherman but her greatest enjoyment came from spending time with her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Preceded in death by her husband William I. Goolsby and two brothers Billy Shuman and Gene Shuman.

Surviving are one daughter, Debbie Vickery and her husband Ronald Vickery of Springfield: one son, Scott Goolsby and his wife Teri of Richmond Hill; 6 grandchildren Mathew Vickery and his wife Ashlee of Springfield; Justin Vickery and his wife Cayte of Rincon; Elizabeth O` Quinn and her husband Robbie of Savannah; Victoria Amphion and her husband Austin of Springfield; Margaret Sallette and her husband Tyler of Richmond Hill and Sarah Goolsby of Raleigh NC; 14 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

Graveside services will be held at 3 o'clock Monday afternoon in Effingham Memorial Gardens, 880 GA-119, Springfield, Georgia. Pastor Samuel Robinson will officiate.
