SAVANNAH, GEORGIA - Leonard Harold Prince, 68, of Savannah, Georgia, husband of Marlene Charlotte Hirstreet Prince, died Monday morning, February 13, 2012, at Savannah Rehabilitation and Nursing Center.
Born in Brooklyn, New York, he was a son of the late Isidore Prince and the late Sylvia Schechter Prince. Mr. Prince was a member of Congregation Bnai Brith Jacob. He was a retired GF11 Cost Price Analyst for the Department of the Navy/ Supervisor of Shipbuilding. Mr. Prince enjoyed collecting antiques, especially antique radios.
Surviving are his wife of 47 years, Marlene Charlotte Hirstreet Prince of Savannah, Georgia; one daughter, Kimberly Harder and her husband, Bryan, of Savannah, Georgia; one son, Steven B. Prince and his wife, Ann, of Charlotte, North Carolina; four grandchildren, Jayce Harder, Shelden Harder, Kyle Prince and Nathan Prince, and one sister, Barbara Kafah and her husband, Joey, of Brooklyn, New York.
The funeral service will be held at 2 o'clock Wednesday afternoon at the graveside, Bonaventure Cemetery, conducted by Rabbi Avigdor Slatus.
