SAVANNAH, GEORGIA - Larry Lee Hadwin, 71, of Savannah, Georgia, husband of Brenda Joyce Pruett Hadwin, died Thursday evening, March 1, 2012, at Hospice Savannah.
Born in Mason, Michigan, he was a son of the late Donald Wilson Hadwin and the late Mary Jane Field Hadwin. Mr. Hadwin retired after 21 years of service in the United States Marine Corps, having served in the Vietnam War and later retired from Gulfstream after 21 years. He will be greatly missed by his family and friends.
Surviving are his loving wife of 51 years, Brenda Joyce Pruett Hadwin of Savannah; two sons, Larry Joe Hadwin and his wife, Evelyn, of Madison, Alabama and Ken Hadwin and his wife, Joy, of Savannah; one daughter, Laura Scott and her husband, J.D., of Bristow, Virginia; eight grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held at a later date.
