Kathleen 'Kath' Lynn Holmes Stark, 64, of Savannah, Georgia, widow of Robert 'Bob' Warren Stark, died Monday morning, November 23, 2015, at UPMC Presbyterian Hospital in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.
Kath was born April 18, 1951, in Chicago Illinois, to the late David Leroy Holmes and Mildred Senkpeil Holmes. She was of the Lutheran faith. She worked at John Wesley Villas for many years and served in various posts during that time, including Resident Assistant and Activities Coordinator.
Surviving are her mother, Mildred Senkpeil Holmes, of New Berlin, Wisconsin; her daughters, Kristen Maynard of Savannah, Judi Gaborik of Chesapeake, Virginia, Linda Stark of Hampton, Virginia, and Sherri Sanchez of Newport News, Virginia; her son, John Stark of Steubenville, Ohio; two sisters, Karol Goodman of Waukesha, Wisconsin, and Karen Michalek, of Arlington Heights, Illinois, and eight grandchildren, Daniel, Jordan, Christopher, Taylor, Andrew, Nathaniel, Emerson, and Avery.
The family will receive friends from 1 until 2:30 Saturday afternoon at Gamble Funeral Service ' 410 Stephenson Avenue.
The funeral service will be held at 3 o'clock Saturday afternoon at the graveside, Greenwich section of Bonaventure Cemetery, conducted by The Reverend John A. Haney.
