Joy Lynn (Floyd) Epps, 14, of Pooler, Georgia and daughter of Bobby and Leslie Jimmo Epps, died Saturday evening, February 23, 2013, at Hospice Savannah.
Born in Savannah, Georgia, she was a daughter of Bobby Epps and Leslie Jimmo Epps. Joy was a member of Calvary Assembly of God in Pooler and was a caregiver who put the needs of others before herself. She was a 7th grader at West Chatham Middle School. Joy loved animals and wanted to become a marine biologist.
Surviving are her mother and father, Leslie Jimmo Epps and Bobby Epps of the home; three sisters, Charity Jackson of Pooler, Georgia, Brittany Floyd and Shandi Floyd, both of the home; one brother, DeShawn Floyd of the home; her maternal grandparents, Floyd and Doris Jimmo of Pooler, Georgia, and her paternal grandparents, Harold and Phyllis Epps of Starke, Florida.

The family will receive friends from 5 until 8 o'clock Wednesday at Gamble Funeral Service ' 410 Stephenson Avenue, Savannah.
The funeral service will be held at 11 o'clock Thursday morning at Calvary Assembly of God ' 1007 U. S. Highway 80 West, Pooler, conducted by Pastor Daniel L. Webber and Pastor Buck Ormston. Interment will be in Hillcrest Abbey ' West.
