SAVANNAH, GEORGIA - Janie Harden Lee Uselton Boyer, 84, of Savannah, Georgia and formerly of Douglasville, Georgia, widow of, H.L. "Bubba" Lee, Bill Uselton and Earl Boyer died Wednesday morning, February 22, 2012, at Hospice Savannah.
Mrs. Boyer was born in Tallapoosa, Georgia, to the late P.W. Harden and the late Mildred Marie Smith Harden. She was of the Baptist faith and was a retired Bank Teller from Commercial Bank in Douglasville, Georgia. In addition to her parents and her husband's she is preceded in death by her sister JoAnn Harden Roper and her brother, William "Bill" P. Harden.
Surviving are one daughter; Joan M. Lee of Savannah, Georgia; one granddaughter, Melonie J. DeGuire of Fort Worth, Texas; one grandson, James "Jason" A. Atwood III of Lawrenceville, Georgia; three great grandchildren, Luke DeGuire, James and Stella Atwood and one sister, Gloria Nicholson of Columbus, Georgia.
A memorial service will be held at 2 o'clock Saturday afternoon at Ebenezer Baptist Church in Douglasville, Georgia conducted by Tony Lee. Interment will be private.
