James (Jimmy) Robert Johnson, age 69, passed away on December 15,2025 surrounded by his loving wife and his 3 daughters at hospice of Savannah.

Jimmy was born and raised in Savannah and graduated from Savannah High school in 1974.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Patricia Little: stepfather, George Little; Father, James Harris Johnson; Sister, Sheyla Kimball; beloved Grandson, Gordon Carmichael.

He is survived by his wife, Andrea Johnson; daughters, Heather Santos (Alex); Jamie Anchors; Jacquelyn Johnson; sister, Vicki Tucker (Joel); grandchildren; Marshall Mills (Rachel), Cam Mills, and Allie Mills; and many nieces and nephews. He will also be missed by his dog and faithful sidekick George.

Jimmy was known for his sense of humor. He always had a joke to tell and was the life of every party. Jimmy was admired for his strong work ethic. He worked for M&M/Kroger and Johnny Harris Barbecue for many years. Roles which he carried Out with pride, dedication, and integrity.

Family meant everything to Jimmy. He was a loving father and grandfather who never Failed to let his children know how much he loved them.

The family will receive friends 4 o'clock until 6 o'clock Thursday evening, December 18, 2025 at Gamble Funeral Service-410 Stephenson Avenue, Savannah, Georgia.

The funeral service will immediately follow at 6 o'clock in the funeral home chapel.

In Lieu of flowers donations can be made to Hospice of Savannah in Remembrance of Jimmy.
