Jackie (Ann) Womack Daniel, born in Statesboro, Georgia, passed into the presence of her Lord this week. She was a proud graduate of Groves High School, Class of 1965.

She was preceded in death by her father, Benjamin Womack, and her mother, Margaret Womack, both of Port Wentworth, Georgia. 

She is survived by her beloved husband of 57 years, Johnnie Daniel of Rincon; her son, Ben (Jiyoung) Daniel of Alpharetta; her daughter, Kelly Daniel of Rincon; her cherished granddaughter, Abbigail Burch of Beverly Hills, Florida; her brother, Glenn (Susan) Womack of Guyton; and numerous cousins, nieces, and nephews. 

Jackie was a devoted daughter, wife, mother, and grandmother whose life was marked by faith, kindness, and service to others. She held several positions in office management throughout the Savannah area, she was not only the model of integrity but also a joy and light to all who knew her. 

A devout Christian, Jackie loved the Lord with all her heart, mind, and soul. Her faith guided every aspect of her life, and she faithfully served others through Sunday School teaching, church activities, and countless acts of kindness. She embraced the command to love her neighbor as herself through her occupation in addition to many volunteer efforts in her childrens’ schools and band programs. She was especially proud of her work with United Way of the Coastal Empire, where she was recognized as Volunteer of the Year.

Nothing brought Jackie greater joy than her family. She offered unwavering support, encouragement, and prayers to those she loved, and she leaves behind a legacy of compassion and faith.

Many years ago, when asked what she aspired to in life, Jackie simply replied, "I wanted to make a difference." Through her faith, service, kindness, and love for others, she fulfilled that aspiration beyond measure. Mom, you made a world of difference to more people than we could ever count, and your legacy will continue to live on in the lives you touched.

The family will receive friends 10 o'clock until 11 o'clock Saturday, September 26, 2026 at Gamble Funeral Service, 410 Stephenson Ave., Savannah. Funeral services will follow at 11 o'clock with Pastor Deek Dubberly officiating. Burial will take place in Forest Lawn Memory Garden.
