Henry T. McMillan, 81, of Savannah, Georgia, passed November 9, 2013. Now sleeping and waiting for the Resurrection.
Born 1932 in Belfast, Northern Ireland, to Robert McMillan and Sarah Towe McMillan. Mr. McMillan was a mechanical design engineer and immigrated to Atlanta, Georgia in 1966, where he met his future wife, DiAnn Pattillo. He was a proud naturalized U.S. citizen. Mr. McMillan was a faithful servant of God, who loved studying and practicing the faith. He also enjoyed golf, line dancing, and working in his yard. He was a husband, father, grandfather and friend.
Surviving are his wife of 45 years, DiAnn Pattillo McMillan of Savannah; a daughter, Sally M. Klein and her husband, Bert, of Savannah; a son, Timothy Henry McMillan and his wife, Cecilia, of Charleston, South Carolina; three grandchildren, Henry McMillan, Abigail Klein and Luke Klein; one sister, Sally Greene of Belfast, Northern Ireland; one brother, Thomas McMillan and his wife, Mimi, of London, England, and a number of nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends from 3 until 4 o'clock Friday afternoon at Gamble Funeral Service ' 410 Stephenson Avenue.
The funeral service will be held at 4 o'clock Friday afternoon in the chapel of Gamble Funeral Service conducted by Pastor Mark Piotrowski. Interment will be private.
