Harvey A. Weiss, beloved father and husband, died Tuesday, April 18, 2017 at age 82. A native of Jamaica, Queens, NY, he taught high school health education for 25 years prior to retirement to Bluffton, SC and Cary, NC.
Survivors include his wife Cherie of Cary, NC; and three sons: Geoffrey of Apex, NC and his sons Seth and Ethan; Richard of Roanoke, VA, his wife Allison, and their sons Maxwell and Asher; and Jonathan of Brooklyn, NY.
He was predeceased by his first wife, Marsha, and brothers, Daniel and Irwin Weiss.
The funeral service will be held at 11 o'clock Friday at the graveside, Bonaventure Cemetery, conducted by Rabbi Robert W. Haas.
Remembrances: In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the American Heart Association, American Cancer Society, or Duke Friends of Nursing, Durham, NC 27701.
