Gregory Pernell Morris, 48, of Savannah, died Wednesday, September 3, 2014, at St. Joseph's Hospital.
He was born in Savannah, Georgia on April 17, 1966. He attended A.E. Beach High School, graduating in 1984. He was a loyal employee of Weyerhaeuser, serving faithfully for fifteen years.
He leaves behind his mother, Barbara H. Williams; father, Eddie Lee Wilcox; special friend, Sharee Gunder; daughter, Shavakia Helton; Sisters, Pamela Burton and her husband James and Evelyn Perry and her husband Donald; brother, Calvin Morris and his wife, Lisa; aunt, Joanna Eady; one niece; many cousins, friends, and well-wishers.
The funeral service will be held at 2 o'clock Sunday afternoon in the chapel of Gamble Funeral Service ' 410 Stephenson Avenue. Interment will be private. There will be a repast following the service at 8606 Hurst Avenue.
