Frankie Jewel Adams

Frankie Jewell Saxon Adams, age 90, left us to be with her lord and Savior on August 30th.
Frankie was born into a large family in Screven County, GA to Frank Brown Saxon and Lillian Theodosia Chance.
Frankie later moved to Savannah, became a beautician for years, working at several salons, The Artistic, Rene’s, and The Plaza, before retiring after 45 years.
She is pre-deceased by first husband, J.L. Woods, second husband, C.A. Adams; brothers, James, Alex, Carroll and Cecil and sisters, Mintora, Gladys, Cornelia, Myra.
She is survived by her children, Betty Sue Bingham of Lawrenceville, GA and David R. Woods of Savannah, GA.; 4 grandchildren, Samantha Finch (Stephen), Brandy Taylor (Jonathan), Erin Kaufhold (Lucas), David Woods (Claudia), Charles Bingham (Beverly); 11 great grandchildren, Gavin and Gwen Barnett, Hailey Kaufhold, Serenity, Dylan and Alicia Finch, Anthony Zabawa, Chris Kauffman, Jaxon Hines, Aiden and Mattis Woods; 3 great-great grandchildren; one sister, Jean Saxon Davenport of Athens, Ga. and a sister-in-law, Mary Ann Saxon of Perkins, GA.
Graveside services for Ms. Adams will be held on September 6th, at 2:00pm at Forest Lawn Cemetery.
