Francisco Antonio Barrios, 91, of Savannah, Georgia and widower of Rosalina Llerena-Santana Barrios, died Thursday evening, November 8, 2012, at Candler Hospital.
Born in Cuba, he was a son of the late Antonio Barrios and the late Rosalia Valdes. Mr. Barrios was of the Catholic faith. He retired as a graphics designer for United Hospital in Port Chester, New York in addition to his part-time job for 16 years at Greenwich Hospital in Greenwich, Connecticut. He was a model son, husband, father and grandfather, who thoroughly adored his wife and family. He was preceded in death by his wife of 63 years, his parents, his brother, his sister, and his son-in-law.
Surviving are his daughter, Magda R. Kahn of Savannah, Georgia; two grandsons, Aaron Kahn of Manhattan, New York, and Jordan Kahn of Beverly Hills, California; two nieces and one nephew.
The family will receive friends from 5 until 7 o\'clock Sunday at Gamble Funeral Service -410 Stephenson Avenue.
The funeral service will be held at 7 o\'clock Sunday evening in the chapel of Gamble Funeral Service conducted by Father Richard K. Young.?? A graveside service will be held at 4 o'clock Monday afternoon in the Greenwich section of Bonaventure Cemetery.
