Erika S. Takenaka, 55, of Savannah, Georgia, passed away on Sunday, February 12, 2017.
Born October 31, 1961 in Stuttgart, Germany, she was the daughter of the late Erwin and Inge Lucie Ida Siegler and was later fostered by Edeltraud Furst.
She was preceded in death in 2006 by her husband, Koji Takenaka, U. S. Army (Ret.).
She is survived by her two daughters, Jessica Seabrian and her husband, Phillip Seabrian, and Stephanie Takenaka and her fianc??, Calvin Wallace, all of Savannah, Georgia; three grandchildren, Kiara Seabrian, Kayla Seabrian and Calvin R. Wallace, all of Savannah, Georgia; four brothers including her twin, Erich, Siegfried, Hans, Karleinz and Wolfgang, and a sister Angelika.
The memorial service will be held at 1 o'clock Saturday afternoon, February 18, 2017, in the chapel of Gamble Funeral Service with Pastor Ida M. Floyd officiating.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home after the service.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the family.
