Eric Wayner, a beloved husband, father, son, brother, and friend, passed away on November 30th, 2022 at the age of 56.

Born in Ann Arbor, Michigan in 1966, he was a son of Joan Baker and Paul Weener. Eric was raised in Boalsburg, Pennsylvania alongside his brother, Bryan Weener. As a young person Eric was an avid bike rider and quickly developed a passion for running in his early adult life. Eric graduated from Penn State University with his Bachelors and received his MBA from Drexel University.



Eric married the love of his life, Kendall Ames Wayner, on August 1st, 1992 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania and shortly after, they moved down to Savannah, Georgia where Eric pursued his career. Eric spent his career as a Business Analyst and Project Manager in the Savannah area.



Eric found community and life-long friends through serving as a volunteer official for USA Swimming and as a volunteer Isle of Hope Fireman. He loved spending time on the intracoastal waterway with his family and chasing sunsets on the Skidaway River along with spending time in the kitchen cooking up an incredible meal for friends and family. But most of all, Eric loved spending time with his wife and three children living a life full of adventure.



Eric is survived by his loving wife of 30 years, Kendall Ames Wayner; children, Darby Wayner, Harrison Wayner, Alexandra Wayner; mother, Joan Baker; father, Paul Weener; and brother, Bryan Weener.



The family will receive friends for a Celebration of Eric's Life service and a reception following at Isle of Hope Methodist Church, 412 Parkersburg Rd, Savannah, GA 31406, on Saturday, December 10th at 11am.
