Catherine “Cathy” Yeager, 82, passed away peacefully on June 6, 2026.

Cathy was born in Akron, Ohio, on December 28, 1943, to the late Wilbur and Catherine Lusk. She graduated from Withrow High School before earning her nursing degree from Bethesda Hospital School of Nursing in 1964. She later earned a Bachelor of Science degree from the College of St. Francis in 1985. As a registered nurse, Cathy devoted her life to caring for others, serving her patients with compassion, dedication, and kindness.

Cathy was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Robert “Bob” Yeager. She is survived by her daughter, Anne Clayton; her granddaughters, Molly and Elizabeth “Libby” Clayton; her son-in-law, John Clayton; and brother William (Sandy) Lusk

The family will receive friends from 2:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. on Thursday, June 18, 2026, at Gamble Funeral Service, 410 Stephenson Avenue.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the charity of the donor’s choice in Cathy’s memory.
