Barbara Jean Devine Farrell, 82, of Savannah, Georgia and wife of Matthew \"Matt\" Joseph Farrell, died Friday morning, March 15, 2013, at Memorial University Medical Center.
Born in Indianapolis, Indiana, she was a daughter of the late George Jackson Devine and the late Regina Williams Devine. Mrs. Farrell was a communicant of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Indianapolis and was a retired librarian for the Marion County, Indiana Public Library System.
Surviving are her husband of 60 years, Matthew 'Matt' Joseph Farrell; one daughter, Suzanne Whitney and her husband, Keith; three sons, Matthew J. Farrell, Jr. and his wife, Cherise, Christopher B. Farrell and his wife, Lisa, and Timothy S. Farrell; six grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends from 6 until 7 o'clock Monday evening at Gamble Funeral Service - 410 Stephenson Avenue, with the??service being held at 7 o'clock in the chapel conducted by Monsignor Francis J. Nelson.
