Andrew 'Andy' Taylor Barnes, 17, of Savannah, Georgia, died Monday morning, November 7, 2016.
Born in Victoria, Texas, he was a son of Bryson Scott Barnes and Mary Lois Branson Barnes. Andy faithfully attended Ardsley Park Baptist Church and was a freshman at Savannah High School.
A beloved son, grandson and brother, whose life was cut tragically short, Andy was a budding screenplay writer and a lover of reptiles and adventure. He left behind his parents; three sisters, Mary M. Barnes, Rebecca Barnes and Naomi Barnes; three brothers, Matthew Barnes, Timothy Barnes and Michael Barnes; his maternal grandmother, Mary Branson; one niece; two nephews, and aunts and uncles.
The family will receive friends from 11 until 12 Friday morning at Ardsley Park Baptist Church.
The funeral service will be held at 12:30 Friday afternoon in Ardsley Park Baptist Church conducted by Pastor Jon K. Tillman and Associate Pastor Buddy Clay. Private interment will be in the Greenwich section of Bonaventure Cemetery.
