Kelton Kelly Smith, 74, of Savannah, Georgia, died on Tuesday, March 10, 2020, at his home.

He worked as a plumber for many years, as well as car painting and bodywork. Kelly loved watching Gunsmoke and fishing at Bonaventure Cemetery.

In addition to his mother and father, he was preceded in death by his sister, Janice Mullis.

Surviving are his daughter, Kelly Smith; grandchildren, Richard, Brittany, and Angelica; three brothers, B.L. Smith, Bud Smith, and Javid Smith; one sister, Margaret Turner, and several nieces and nephews

The memorial service will be held at 3 o’clock Sunday afternoon, March 15, 2020 at Gamble Funeral Service – 410 Stephenson Avenue, conducted by the Reverend Thomas W. East, Jr.

    Uncle Kelly taught me so much. He was always there for me when I would pop up. He was never too busy to hang with his nephews. We watched movies mostly….one particularly terrible movie we watched and laughed about for years was MONKEY BOY. Uncle Kelly understood what family is truly about. I love you Uncle Kelly….you were truly one in a million.
