When I think of Jerome, I will always think about how he loved to spoil his Grandchildren. He always insisted they have the best of whatever they were needing at the time. He truly did have a kind and generous heart! I also will never forget how there was this movie I watched as a teenager, “It Came Upon A Midnight Clear” with Mickey Rooney that I loved and could never find as an adult. Well, one Christmas, as we were exchanging gifts, I happened to unwrap a copy of that very movie! He had found it for me! He was so happy to see how excited that made me and I really couldn’t believe he found it. He was so happy to make those, especially Kaleigh and Justin, around him happy. They loved him so very much, as did his great-grandchildren, as did myself. Connor misses him and just told me again yesterday that he passed away. Nikki, you took exceptional care of him and he was so lucky to have you! I have always thought of you both as second parents and 2 of the most selfless people I’ve known. We should all be more like you and Jerome.
    Love you so much.
