Anchel one of the nicest people I have ever worked for. They open the door he would reach you with a smile make you feel very comfortable and welcome in his home, and then he had a joke for you. My condolences to the family. My favorite memory I was leaving one day and he had written me a check for x amount of dollars and didn’t add the $0.01 to it.he looked at me and said I know the amount is incorrect but I’m not putting one scent in my checkbook he said I will just owe you that one cent. So as of today and memory of my friend I will keep a penny in my pocket. Normally I don’t carry change in my pocket but there will always be a penny there. Rest in peace my friend

  3. Andrea Blair says:

Jill, Scott and family, I loved these two so much and how perfect to provide a photo of them together. I have so many, many fun memories full of love and laughter. Anchel always made me feel good about myself and just had a way, to know what to say. My love to you both.

  4. Ben Goggins says:

What a joy he was to be around! We met Anchel when he was the closing attorney for our house. We were immediately taken with his wit and the enjoyment that he took in his work. We used him again at the closing of another house. Then we took to meeting him for lunch occasionally, where he always delighted us with stories and his joie de vivre.
My sincere condolences to his family.
    Rest well, my friend.

Anchel and my dad were friends. When they met they were like two peas on a pod. Same since oh humor. Last time my sister and I spoke with him was at the Chatham Club. Swapped jokes. We met most nights at the football games. His son was a player for Jenkins High and my daughter was a majorette. Anchel was one of the nicest and one of a kind. I will miss his humor. Condolences to his family and friends.

I’m sorry for the loss of a great man and “uncle” to my mom’s dog, Beau. Anchel has been missed since he left Roundtree Circle. You have no idea the joy I got from seeing your mom and dad around the neighborhood and just chatting with them. Besides me, my mother will miss her Anchel. We all loved him, but they had a special bond ❤️ Please reach out if there is anything we can do.

  11. Louis Stuart says:

I remember Anchel when he and Murray Itzkovitz were good friends.
I lived in NY then and he and his wife visited Murray quite often. He was a good friend to Murray (who died in the 60’s).

Anchel was fun. Loved the theater. Had a good knowledge of B’way and old movies. Another one on the ‘gang’ gone.
