PORT WENTWORTH, GEORGIA - Yong Ae Kim Cooper Grant, 49, of Port Wentworth, Georgia, wife of Andre Raymond Grant, died Monday morning, January 24, 2011 at Hospice Savannah.

Born in P’Yongtaek, South Korea, she was a daughter of the late Kim Teh Oak Kim and the late Goo Pil Joh Kim. Yong was a member of the Savannah Korean United Methodist Church and worked for the Savannah Chatham County Board of Education at Pooler Elementary School and was a caregiver at Wisteria Gardens Assisted Living in Pooler.

Surviving is her husband, Andre Raymond Grant, of Port Wentworth, Georgia; two daughters,
Nickia Yong Cooper of Garden City, Ikeshia Shaunta Cooper of Port Wentworth; numerous sisters, brothers, nieces and nephews in South Korea.

The family would like to especially thank Doctor Carlton Kemp and his staff for their exceptional care during this difficult time.

The family will receive friends from 5 until 7 o'clock Friday evening at Gamble Funeral Service, 410 Stephenson Avenue.

The funeral service will be held at 2 o'clock Saturday afternoon in the Savannah Korean United Methodist Church conducted by The Reverend Hyun-Suk Kim. Interment will be in Daniel Baptist Church Cemetery.
