WILLIAM ROBERT “BOB” GARRISON, SR.

 
  

SAVANNAH, GEORGIA - William Robert “Bob” Garrison, Sr., 65, of Savannah, Georgia, died Monday morning, June 6, 2011, at his home.

Born in Savannah, Georgia, he was a son of Donnie “Betty” Tate Garrison and the late William Frank Garrison. Bob was of the Methodist faith and was a United States Navy veteran. He worked at Uncle Bobs Self Storage and loved to grow and sell flowers. Bob was a regular vendor selling his flowers at both the Forsyth Park Farmers Market and the Farmers Market in Bluffton. He was a very devoted son, brother and uncle who loved his family.

Surviving are his mother, Donnie “Betty” Tate Garrison of Savannah, Georgia; one son, Bill Garrison of Savannah, Georgia; one sister, Patty Mobley and her husband, Jimmy, of Savannah, Georgia; two nieces, Jenny Best and her husband, Steven, of Savannah, Georgia,  and Melinda Gale and her husband, Gary, of Faulkville, Georgia; his great-nieces and nephews, Dylan Gale, Grayson Gale, Madison Best, Mason Best, and many other relatives.

The family will receive friends from 5 until 7 o'clock Thursday at Gamble Funeral Service - 410 Stephenson Avenue.

The funeral service will be held at 11 o’clock Friday morning in the chapel of Gamble Funeral Service conducted by The Reverend Tom Kellor. Interment will be in Forest Lawn Memory Gardens.
