I knew Bill from Belk. He was a very caring person and loved to come in the store to see his other "family" - his Belk co-workers. He always had a smile and time to chat with us. He always had a peppermint or two in his pocket which he gave to associates and customers alike. Whenever he came into the store he made a point to say "HI". I'll miss seeing him and chatting for a few minutes.

It was an honor to have worked with "Mr. Bill" at Belk. He always had a story to tell and was always speaking of his wife and daughter. We also had the pleasure of seeing him at train shows and the exhibit downtown. Prayers are with you.

Dear Family and Friends, We all know Bill is in a better place. When God called him home he welcomed him and said "Well done, my good and faithful servant".
During the years Bill worked with us at Belk, he was always helpful and greeted everyone with a smile. The last time I saw him at Picadilly he smiled, chatted with me and lived up to his name "a sweet candy man".
My prayers are for all who are grieving now. Thank you Bill for your service to our country. God Bless, Janet Campbell and Family.

Mr. Evans was a very warm and kind man who dearly loved his family. His wife Dorothy and daughter Martha were the loves of his life. He was also a wonderful grandfather to Garrett. I have many fond and lasting memories of Mr. Evans and I'll miss him very much.
