Walter and I served together for many years and many deployments in the 165 TH. He was truly a grand person and friend. May God's grace be with all his family forever. I am very proud to have been his comrade in arms.

My deepest condolences to the family. "Hoppy" was my first shop chief when i joined the 165th in 1997. All of us who were in the shop with him at that time still look back on those days with fond memories and some pretty good stories. I am proud to have had him as a friend and comrade. May God bless your family and be with you during this time.
