POOLER, GEORGIA - Veronica Godwin Estrada, 50, of Pooler, Georgia, wife of Angel Gustavo Estrada, died Thursday evening, December 24, 2009, at her home.

Born in Longview, Texas, she was a daughter of John Wayne Godwin and Jerry Kissick Godwin. Veronica was a member of Temple Baptist Church and was a homemaker.

Surviving are her husband, Angel Gustavo Estrada of Pooler, Georgia; two daughters, Anna Marisa Estrada and Carmen Frances Estrada, both of the home; her parents, John Wayne Godwin and Jerry Kissick Godwin of Taylorsville, North Carolina; one sister, Wendy Painter of Fayetteville, North Carolina, and three nieces.

The family will receive friends from 6 until 8 o'clock Tuesday evening at Gamble Funeral Service, 410 Stephenson Avenue.

The funeral service will be held at 11 o'clock Wednesday morning in the chapel of Gamble Funeral Service conducted by The Reverend Steve S. Corley.  Interment will be in the Greenwich section of Bonaventure Cemetery.
